Kennedy Health and Safety Group (formerly known as Mr Safety)
is the first and only Health and Safety training and consultancy Provider in Ireland delivering sustainable learning.
So, what is sustainable learning?
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), sustainable development is defined as a strategy to “meet the needs of the present world population without causing adverse effect on health and on the environment, and without depleting or endangering the global resource base, hence without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.”
We are bringing this concept into the Health and Safety training environment.
We are now measuring all of the CO2 emissions produced by our training and teaching activities and offsetting these through a number of initiatives, which ultimately is providing you with Net Zero Emission health and safety training courses.
In conjunction with our partners at The GreenPlan and Emissions Management Services we have calculated the CO2 emissions produced by our various training activities. As part of sustainable learning we will offset these by firstly radically changing the way we conduct our business, and secondly recovering any emissions used by planting Native Irish Trees on Irish land. And the best thing is that this is at no extra cost to you – our customers.
By Kennedy Health and Safety Group “Doing More” for our environment, we are also helping you to reduce your carbon footprint – even if its only by a small amount as “every little bit helps”.
