V-Learning

In advance of many workplaces slowly returning to work, we have prepared a number of our suite of courses virtually to eliminate the potential of cross infection and the need for the current social distancing requirements. Our courses are in line with the Governments’ "Return to Work Safety Protocols" published on May 8th 2020.

All training is conducted Virtually via Zoom, which is available on both Desktop and Mobile via App for free by the user. We send you an invitation to join on the agreed date and time. Alternatively we can log into your own systems such as teams, webex or any other such virtual platforms if your prefer.

The courses we are currently offering through V-Learning are:

1. Covid-19 For Workplace First Aiders

1.5 hr lesson

First Aiders now require updated training on infection prevention and control principles including the performance of hand hygiene and appropriate use of correct donning and doffing of personal protective equipment when delivering First Aid.

Max 10 per course.

2. Manual Handling

2 hr lesson

Each participant must demonstrate practical element one to one with instructor via Virtual platform after initial lesson.

Max 12 per course.

3. Fire Marshal Training

3.5 hr lesson

No practical necessary. Each participant must complete short examination one to one with instructor via Virtual platform after initial lesson. Individual element should take no longer than 5 mins each.

Max 10 per course.

4. First Aid Responder (FAR)

10 hrs of Virtual Lessons which can be spread over of few days.

8 hours face to face training to complete practical elements and complete all exams and paperwork. This is equivalent to Phecc requirements of 3 days training.

Max 8 per course.

5. First Aid Responder-Refresher (FAR)

7 hrs of Virtual Lessons which can be spread over of few days.

4 hours face to face training to complete practical elements and complete all exams and paperwork. This is equivalent to Phecc requirements of 2 days training.

Max 8 per course.

6. Basic introduction to First Aid Level 1

2 hr Lesson

Each participant must complete short examination one to one with instructor via Virtual platform after initial lesson. Individual element should take no longer than 5 mins each.

Max 10 per course.

7. Basic introduction to First Aid Level 2

4 hr Lesson via virtual Platform followed by 3 hr practical face to face when appropriate.

Each participant must complete short examination one to one with instructor via Virtual platform after initial lesson. This should take no longer than 5 mins each.

Max 10 per course.

Please note, we may need to allocate more than 3 hrs for the face to face practical if social distancing measures cannot be implemented with the size of the class. We may have to do this element with fewer numbers at a time, so the duration may increase which will have to incorporate a higher fee for the additional time on site. However, we will be taking all courses on a case by case basis. The overall importance is that both your staff and ours are limited to any Covid-19 cross contamination.

8. Chemical Awareness

2 hr Lesson

Each participant must complete short examination one to one with instructor via Virtual platform after initial lesson. Individual element should take no longer than 5 mins each.

Max 10 per course.

9. Ladder Safety

1.5 hr Lesson

Each participant must complete short examination one to one with instructor via Virtual platform after initial lesson. Individual element should take no longer than 5 mins each.

Max 10 per course.

10. Working at Heights

2.5 hr Lesson

Each participant must complete short examination one to one with instructor via Virtual platform after initial lesson. Individual element should take no longer than 5 mins each.
