Programme Objective
This three hour course covers a range of topics to prepare an untrained person the skills to administer some basic emergency care in the workplace, social or club environment. Participants will learn practical skills with theoretical knowledge, so that they can react quickly to a situation that may arise.
Outline Syllabus
There are nine modules in the Introduction to First Aid Course:
- Introduction
- Identifying the problem
- Wounds and bleeding
- Respiration
- Heart Attack
- Unconsciousness
- Burns, scalds and poisons
- Other medical emergencies

Training Method
All participants will practice bandaging of wounds and the recovery position. As all our instructors are frontline paramedics they add real value to the course contents.

This course is open to anybody who wishes to gain a qualification in basic first aid. Ideal for business, clubs, social groups.
