If a fire does start, early detection will save lives. Most deaths are caused by the inhalation of smoke, so the early warning provided by an audible smoke alarm will give you and your family the chance to escape. 82% of fires that kill are in homes with no working smoke alarm.
This course is a basic introduction to fire safety training. It is open and should be offered to all staff within a company
on induction or with existing staff. As this is new to most people we recommend re-training every year.
The course is for carefully selected members of staff who have been chosen to form a fire marshal team. The team should
consist of members of the work force drawn from all areas of the premises ensuring no area is left un-represented.
